Makeover of Performance Motors Showroom at Sime Darby Centre
Performance Motors Limited (PML) recently undertook renovations to its Sime Darby Centre in Dunearn Road.
The renovation, which commenced end of September 2005 and lasted a month, saw the facility transformed into an even more attractive showcase of BMW cars and lifestyle. The upgrade makes it one of the latest showrooms to conform to BMW Group standards.
Not only was the two-storey centre expanded to host more BMW cars and Motorcycles, but a Used Car Section, managed by Performance Premium Selection Limited (PPSL), was added to further increase the choice on offer to prospective BMW owners.
The Sime Darby Centre is a one-stop centre for BMW enthusiasts. A wide range of BMW models is on display, including the BMW 3, 5, 6, 7, X, Z and M series. Even the classic BMW Isetta is displayed in the showroom.
The first level now hosts a BMW Lifestyle and Accessories gallery that showcases clothing and car accessories such as wheel rims. On the second floor resides a Parts counter from which orders for parts and accessories can be made – the centre is fully qualified to fit all BMW approved items. Also housed on the second floor, is a well-equipped workshop for servicing and minor repairs.
Customer comforts include an even cosier lounge, free wireless internet access and TV.
New owners will delight in a New Car Delivery Centre on the second level when collecting their new BMWs.
Further enhancement to the facade of the Sime Darby Centre will be completed in the first half of 2006.
The Centre has long been a focal point for PML sales and service, first opening in 1983, just four years after PML was incorporated in 1979. Operations originally began at Tanglin Halt Road, after which PML moved to Dunearn Road.
