The New BMW 3 Series Debuts in Singapore
The new BMW 3 Series made its debut in Singapore at The Padang in true BMW style. Aptly themed "Dynamics 3", the specially constructed pavillion introduced the new BMW 3 Series as its latest icon of uncompromising dynamics, innovation and efficiency.
To create the extraordinary BMW 3 Series experience, the company devised the pavillion, brightened up by the latest lighting technologies. Models of the new BMW 320i and BMW 325i were unveiled at the three storey cube pavillion, dubbed the Dynamics Lab. The first few nights of this elite event were exclusively reserved for the diplomats and ambassadors from various countries, VIPs and prominent figures from the business world and the media, before the doors opened to the public on March 18.
Besides the visual treat, the guests were treated to a unique gastronomical feast. Handcrafted finger foods and specially concocted cocktails and mocktails were served on wares normally associated with a science lab - petri dishes, watch glasses, beakers, test tubes and conical flask - so as to provide customers with a truly unique experience. Mr Roland Krueger, Managing Director of BMW Asia Pte Ltd, and Mr Simon Rock, Managing Director of Performance Motors Ltd then invited the guests to the second storey where they unveiled the new BMW 3 Series.
Guests were able to get up close and personal with the new BMW 3 Series after the unveiling. Many of them even had polaroid shots of themselves taken with the car. The balmy breeze made the evening the perfect time to enjoy the rooftop terrace where more cocktails and food were served. Deejays, specially flowin in from Paris, provided the evening's entertainment.

Acknowledged for 30 years as the best car in its class, the BMW 3 Series comes with a wide range of innovative, hands-on progress on the engine and suspension, and in terms of motoring comfort. To date, the BMW 3 Series is the undisputed leader in its segment in Singapore.
The BMW Pavillion has been perched prominently on The Padang for an extensive period of two and a half weeks, beginning 14 March. It sets a new benchmark for "exceptional and unique" events, which perfectly complements the new BMW 3 Series, as the new car is once again pushing up the benchmark in its segment.
The extraordinary experience will likely be the yardstick for future unique and exceptional car launches to come.
