Incorporation of Performance Motors Limited (PML) as the exclusive distributor of BMW Cars and Motorcycles. Showroom and servicing operations begin at Tanglin Halt. |

1985 |
Another centre is set up at Kampong Arang in East Coast, to cater to customers living in eastern Singapore. For the first time, a panel-beating and spray painting facility is set up. |

Performance Motors continues with its expansion and opens Performance Centre in the heart of the motoring retail belt on Alexandra Road. |

Performance Motors achieves record sales volume with an increase of 34% over the previous year. |

BMW powers to the top of Singapore's luxury car market. Performance Motors is awarded the Best Sales Performance by BMW Asia at the Asia Importers Conference and announces an investment of S$60+ million in a new-state-of-the art facility. Sime Darby Centre is refurbished and integrates the operations of Performance Premium Selection Limited. |

BMW leads Singapore's luxury car market for the second straight year. Performance Motors secures a milestone partnership with the Singapore government and BMW Asia to provide over 545 BMW cars for the 2006 Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the Internation Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group. |

BMW retains No. 1 position in luxury segment for third consecutive year. Performance Motors achieves the fourth consecutive year of 'record' sales and claims a 70% increase in cars sold since the end of 2003. Performance Motors Master Technician ranks 1st at the BMW International Aftersales Competition of Excellence (ASCE 2007). |

The relaunch of Performance Motors Aftersales East Coast Centre at 280 Kampong Arang Road- one of the most innovative, service-oriented automotive centres in Singapore. |
Jan 2011 |
Performance Motors Limited (PML) announces record sales of BMW vehicles in Singapore in 2010, with 4,178 automobiles sold over the twelve-month period. Breaking the 4,000 units mark is a first for PML and sets a new milestone in the retail history. It is a 22% increase over sales in 2009, making BMW the top luxury car brand in Singapore. |
